Black unemployment rate falls to record low 6.8 percent under Trump

In Friday’s jobs report, black unemployment reached a record low: 6.8 percent. That’s the lowest black unemployment has been since the Bureau of Labor Statistics began tracking unemployment, which started in 1972. “The lowest in nearly 5 decades and a credit to [President Donald Trump’s] economic policies!!” tweeted White House deputy press secretary Raj Shah.

  1. So now we are still using Obama’s method of measuring unemployment. We dont actually count how many are unemployed, we only count those who havent used up their unemployment benefits yet. Once they stop getting benefits and are STILL unemployed they are no longer counted. That 6.8% statistic is COMPLETELY worthless when the actual rate for everyone sits at around 15% if they actually counted the people not working
