Dialogues with Meg Hansen: Health insurance woes continue in Vermont

In this week’s Dialogues, Meg Hansen discusses new Vermont legislation about the impending tax-based penalty related to the individual mandate, and the politicization of health insurance in the state.

Because many Vermonters worry that their families, farms and businesses will face the ire of activists, they fear speaking out about their legitimate concerns. As a result, this week’s dialogue became a monologue.

Meg Hansen is the creator and host of “Dialogues with Meg Hansen” on the YCN network.

  1. Excellent monologue. Hospitals are going under due to the economic payment system. Not because of mismanagement or waste. The state economy is not supporting the spending by the government. Raising taxes on individuals and businesses will not solve either problem. You point out true solutions. They are going in the same direction they are bringing the state, Down.
