Dialogues with Meg Hansen: The Act 250 quandary – Part 2

This week we continue our conversation with Pittsford farmer Dave Soulia, who founded the “Repeal Act 250” movement. He discusses the growing grassroots movement to eliminate the 50-year-old Vermont land use law.

Meg Hansen is the creator and host of “Dialogues with Meg Hansen” on the YCN network.

  1. Once the soul of our state was inspired by individual property rights that created the incentive to produce and prosper for all individuals who lived here. Now we have seen in the last 50 years how manipulating these rights can remove the incentive to produce and prosper leaving our destiny dependent on Government Manipulation and Oversight {GMO’s} rather than that of our own free will.

Are we to believe more GMO tinkering of Act 250 will improve our lot in life?

  2. Nice interview.

Act250 2.0 is part of the socialist take over of property rights via Agenda 21 as outlined by the united nations. They have renamed things “sustainable communities” for a softer, less direct reference. Dave has a great understanding of the games being played out in our state.

There is another group, regional planners and commissions that could/should also be removed, we can’t apply to them, but they seem to be steering towns and communities though state lead directives. One of the biggest being trapping people into rental housing or putting them into fancy sheds on landscape trailers and calling them tiny homes.

The programs being proffered by our state are being done to bankrupt our state, that and the “green new deals” that have nothing to do with being environmentally conscious and everything to do with have state control of all your money are direct assaults on our Republic.

The reason why Vermont doesn’t have affordable homes or affordable anything is because of these regulations, solely because of them.

VNRC says we should only have 200k people in Vermont, it’s all we can sustain. Think about that, if Vermont is over populated, where does that leave the rest of the world?

The NOW Prssc (New World Order, Progressives, rinos, sjw, socialists, communists) crowd not only wants to sell out Vermont, they want to sell out the nation, and this is the plan to do it. I thought my friend was “exaggerating” a bit when he first told me of this. Then I read Agenda 21, and guess what the zoning and regional planners are using it in my home town of 1800 people! It’s every where when you start to look. How can a bus system work in small towns? Stupendously dumb ideas, more “train studies”…..all Agenda 21.

Conservatives, Democrats, Independents and Libertarians who love this country can solve our problem very quickly. We don’t need the DNC and rino’s in the RNC running and ruining our little Republic called Vermont.
