Green Mountain Care Board is working on the wrong issue

Can you imagine the uproar if a 5-person group was given this kind of control over cutting education spending? There would be riots in the streets, and Montpelier would quickly descend into anarchy . . .

What’s the Vegas line on how quickly the first board member resigns “to spend more time with their family”?

Repeal the bottle bill

Support for repealing the deposit-tax is crucial if we want to come together and recycle as independent, free, compassionate, stewards of our society. The “bottle bill” has cast us into “recycling columns”. There are different groups (ie columns) that are recycling for very different reasons. This approach should be stopped at once! Please do not give up the chance to foster unity and provide leadership opportunities. Repeal the bottle bill today. “Whatever works” is no reason to continue this artificial divide in our culture.
