New machining centers located at Mack’s headquarters expand the ability to meet the milling and turning needs of customers.

The custom plastics molder and supplier of contract manufacturing services continues to experience heightened commercial activity, and the new equipment is geared toward meeting current needs and future opportunities, according to a company statement.

Mack works with 617 full-time employees in its Arlington, East Arlington and Cavendish facilities.

Across all Mack divisions, Mack Group’s total sales were $371 million in 2017.

“We are seeing a significant wave of new product development, the most in a decade,” said Jeff Somple, president of Mack. “From robots to 3-D printers to new medical devices, our customers have put their confidence in Mack’s manufacturing expertise and the experience of our team. With the tax laws making it easier to facilitate these types of investments the time was right to commission the tools we need to ensure success for Mack and our customers.”
