MANCHESTER — Manchester’s Mulroy family recently had the chance to test their collective prowess in an appearance on the popular game show “Family Feud,” which will air on November 15 and 16.
Having moved to Manchester in 1981, the Mulroy’s quickly settled into the Northshire community, with their six children attending Burr and Burton Academy.
Though those children are now grown and scattered across the country, there was no question as to what “hometown” the family would designate on “Family Feud.”
“We used to vacation in Vermont, and my mom just fell in love with Manchester,” said Rosemarie Mulroy, who appeared on the game show alongside her father and three of her siblings. “It still feels like Vermont is home. My parents still have a house in Manchester, and I actually got married there on their property.”
After a family friend appeared on “Family Feud,” the Mulroys decided to try their hand at the game, which requires participants to name the most popular responses to survey questions for cash and prizes.
At a recruitment event in Boston the family competed in a mock game, and were noticed almost immediately for their enthusiasm.
