Senate Intelligence Report points fingure of blame over Benghazi at the State Department and intelligence agencies

More trouble is brewing for the Obama Administracion over its handling of Benghazi, first according to Right Wing News, “South Carolina Congressman Trey Gowdy slammed the State DepartmentFriday night over its slow response in finally naming the suspected terrorist groups responsible for the attack in Benghazi on Sept. 11, 2012.”  According to Congressman Gowdy ‘The “shocking part” was that one day after the terrorist attack, members of former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s inner circle – including Clinton’s Chief of Staff Cheryl Mills and Under Secretary of ManagementPatrick Kennedy – “admitted” that it was Ansar al-Sharia who was responsible.’  Congressman Gowdy is not letting this go: “I’m ready to send subpoenas to Hillary Clinton, [Former U.S. Ambassador] Susan Rice, Cheryl Mills and Patrick Kennedy. I’m ready to take their depositions. And I’m ready to send interrogatories to the president.”

To add fuel to this fire, GOPUSA highlights a Senate Intelligence Report that “blames State Dept. and intelligence agencies for Benghazi:”

The Senate Intelligence Committee released a report on the deadly assault on the diplomatic compound in Benghazi, Libya, Wednesday, laying blame on the State Department, the intelligence community – even the late Ambassador Chris Stevens – for failing to communicate and heed warnings of terrorist activity in the area.

The highly critical report also says the U.S. military was not positioned to aid the Americans in need, though the head of Africa Command had offered military security teams that Stevens – who was killed in the attack – had rejected weeks before the attack.

It also said that in the aftermath of the attacks, U.S. analysts confused policymakers by blaming the violence on protests without enough supporting intelligence.
