Echo Center for Lake Champlain

Berlin, VT — Vermont Republicans are excited to announce Governor Chris Sununu of New Hampshire will be our guest of honor at a fundraiser on Aug. 31st. The event is called the “Twin State Reception on the Lake” and will be held at the Echo Center on College Street in Burlington

“I am excited to visit Vermont and speak to Vermont Republicans on the issues both states face together. As a region, we can continue to have important conversations on affordability, energy, the environment, and important regional economic issues,” said Governor Chris Sununu.

“As a region, it’s important to have our Governors working together; especially on issues like energy and the opioid crisis.  I have gotten to know Governor Sununu since November and am very much looking forward to welcoming him to Vermont,” said Governor Phil Scott.

“We are excited to welcome New Hampshire’s Governor to Vermont.  Governor Phil Scott and former Governor Jim Douglas will also be attending. This will be a great opportunity for Vermonters to hear about Republican successes in other states in the region. As New England Republicans continue to remain focused on kitchen-table issues. It will be great to hear how Governor Sununu is responding to similar issues Vermont faces.” said Jeff Bartley, Executive Director of the Vermont Republican Party.
